UCA Senior All-Stars Western Regional Tournament

    8/8 game: Arizona 6, UCA 4

The UCA Senior All-Star team's incredible All-Star journey came to an end today after a 6-4 loss to Arizona in the final game of pool play. The loss gave UCA a final pool play record of 2-2, not quite good enough for one of the 2 Semi-final spots.

UCA's downfall in this final game was the second inning, in which Arizona found all the right gaps and scored 5 times in the inning. Aside of that, UCA allowed only one run the rest of the game, while scoring 1 run in the 2nd inning, 2 in the 4th, and 1 in the 7th. But our boys didn't go down without a fight, starting a rally in the 7th inning to score the one run, but left a runner stranded as they couldn't quite get the hits they were looking for.

We are very proud of the tremendous effort and dedication these young men demonstrated, and thank them for giving our league something to be very proud about. After all, they are the 2010 Northern California Champions!!
