JuniorsThe Junior division is a competitive division which introduces players to the 90’ diamond (same field size as High School and College fields). At this level, all players are teenagers and very capable of playing baseball. They have a strong understanding of baseball fundamentals and learn to apply this knowledge to the larger field size. All baseball rules are followed at this level. Wins/losses are tracked along with standings. The winning team for the season will go on to play the Tournament of Champions which is a competition against other champions in the area. The best players from all teams are separately nominated as All-Stars and the All Star teams will also play against similar teams in the area. During the regular season, Junior teams play against other Junior teams within District 45. This is a great division to play in preparation for high school ball. Age Range: 13 - 14 Uniforms: The League will provide your child with a jersey and a team hat. The player can keep the team hat at the end of the season. The rest of the uniform (pants, belts, socks, etc.) must be purchased separately. Team managers will provide guidance on these items. |
